So I handled Hugo yesterday morning briefly. He's been out before when being fed and always been a darling.

Yesterday however.....I picked him up, he was fairly calm but did make his head flat and there was a small' party's noise I'd thought was a wee hiss. But then the smell hit me....there was no poo as I'd cleaned it up already, so in my shock at the foul' snake dart' I popped him back in his faun to check my hands. Couldn't see anything on them but oh the smell!!

I knew they could make a bad smell when playing dead, I'm now assuming they can musk at any time?

Anyone else had the pleasure of this experience lol?!

Storm has done it to Ian 3 times, me once lol it is NASTY!! sometimes little bit like cottage cheese comes out too, what made Storm stop musking was i put my hand flat in with him, let him come to me for a smell he has never done it to me again, i STILL do that now lol
The flat head is funny, Storm only played dead twice soooooo adorable! They are curious, so just try letting him come to you, maybe even try the sock trick, get used to your scent faster?

I got the cottage cheese the other day LOL!!! Seen it flying out of his behind, right onto my hand boak!

But since then, he's been fine. Still has a hiss most of the time and flattens his head, but apart from that not much, no headbutting again!

I told OH all about his displays of fierceness, told him to come and watch me take him out so he could see. I took him out, and nothing. Not a hiss, not a headbutt, nothing!! Sure OH thinks I make things up sometimes haha! Will pop some more piccy's of him up soon :D

Keep meaning to weigh him but always forget! He's around 8.5inches though, so small!
