errrrrm, dont be mad mods
Razee i tried to go to erm, another forum and it said there was a problem and they would have sent out emails with new passwords, i never got an email, it says i have to click on 'forgot password' to sort it, just wondering if this is real and safe for my laptop?
Did you get that too?

I will have a look... I haven't tried to log on there recently, just read the posts, the only think I noticed was the bit on top saying something about safety, but I wondered if that was one of those "dodgy" or phishing adverts....
I'm not that brilliant when it comes to technology, but I know there are others on here, that are also on " the other site" :-), maybe they would know?
Anyway, we must try to revive THIS forum... It's so nice, and for those who aren't on "Faceache " ( erm..me ...) forums are the only way to be in touch with other snakey loving people - as the only clubs that exist now seem to be the Facebook ones :-( |

That site has been hacked, so it is real. My husband is on VW forum, and their site has gone down, too. Basically, there is one massive company, that owns lots of forums, and their security has been hacked. To be safe, they closed ( or reset ) everything, and everyone on all of those forums involved will be sent a new password through e mail, but it will take some time, as there are so many people to contact.
I tried to log on to there ( dark side, lol ) and it came up with the explanatory notice, what to do. I only know what happened, as hubby is friendly with the main mod on his forum... Hopefully, this forum is safe? |

This site has problems with passwords too :P I hadn't been on so long I forgot my password and the reset link didn't work haha.

So annoying, and i have tried to get new members on here, but the all just want facebook, glad i dont have it, never interested me
obviously i am still here, but thats why i was brave and went to the darkside too as was too quiet here
, people complain how quiet it is there, but any more busy would be too overwhelming!

and the darkside has old members saying how quiet it is now, then they go away again!
Dont get me wrong, i much prefered this place, but still needed my daily forum fix!

| Facebook groups killed most forums, not just snake/reptile ones but any forum. I know of forums to completely close shop because everyone was using Facebook groups |

This was was ment to be closing shop as well wasn't it? When it got a buyer anyway...
I prefer the forum, even in its busy day as you don't have to repeat the same help info again and again :P |

wouldnt say it was ment to be closing, but yeah lewy was/is trying to sell all his/kaz forums etc off. but that was started years ago so not even sure what the situation is now.
