Hey, not been on for a while!

Hugo seems to have 'flakey' scales on the bottom half of him. He sheds, poos, eats very well. In a 2 foot viv, heated on a statted mat between 31-35 degrees celcius. It was lower to begin with, but had issues initially with feeding, so upped the tempps a couple of degrees and this helped. These temps have been the same for months, so not a recent thing.

However the flakey scales are

Any suggestions on what this could be? What should I change? Pop a moist hide in?

I tried google but nothing came up! Here's a couple of pics, hope you can see it:

Thanks for the suggestion scaly. Not sure it could be that though, it's been at least a couple of months since his last shed, and I've only noticed this in the last couple of days.

He seems comfortable enough and is acting the

Hello again Freddiesmum :-)
Just a thought- what bedding do you use? Almost looks like either wear and tear, or could he have a very dessicating bedding?

Yeah maybe due another shed. Although he doesn't shed alot! I am comparing to the corns though! I will pop a humid hide in for him just now, I have moss in the cupboard that I use for Masuka so can use that.

Hi Razee He's on aspen, again he's always been on this so no change, and no new hides that could be irritating him. It's weird, it's just the bottom half of him, his head/neck area downwards are fine!

Will let youse know how he gets on thanks for the advice!
