Has anyone else had problems with their Microclimate stat? I'm having to adjust it daily as the tempurature swings wildly between 20 and 40 even when set on the lowest setting.

I've ordered a new stat (Habistat) but it won't arrive for a while because of Easter.

I'm not impressed with the quality of these stats. :/

Those aren't that good, even from Habistat you'll still get quite a variation in temperature ( though yours would suggest the thermostat is faulty ). I'd go for pulse thermostat for heatmat and ceramics ( I have those and they keep the temps very stable ) - it's well worth the extra money, or dimming thermostat with bulbs.

Thanks. :)

The only pulse stats I can find online are 600w. Do you know if there are any 100w or if the 600w ones would be safe with the a 12w mat?

A 600w stat will be fine as the mat will only consume the power it needs. The rating means "up to 600w"
