That I've got for peaches, there is a small plug on left hand side at the back that I'm assuming comes out so I can insert my probes for mat stat? Will the thermometer come with a plug fitted to the wire so it will cover the hole, I'm worried that as peaches is small she will escape?
Thanks |

So, when I got all the wires through and the plug was in place, I glued two wooden lolly sticks with plastic netting underneath across the outside of the hole. So even if he managed to pop the pug out, he'd have been stopped by the netting. He never managed to pop it out, anyway, so didn't need to worry. |

The probe for the mat stat will squeeze through it, just push it through, the rubber will stretch enough to fit the probe. I used sealant to stick the rubber plug back in the wooden hole just to be extra safe |
