All my equipment arrived earlier than expected and my viv has been running steady with temps ranging from 28 c to 29 c for around half a week.So today we went to the local pet shop for a look and fell for a very striking 8 month old Amel corn,so placid and inquisitive in the shop. After a chat with the owner Vasuki as he/she is now known came home with us and is now being left alone to settle in

Congrats, looking forward to the pics, and don't worry, after the initial investment (viv, thermostat, thermometer, actual snake, etc.) corns aren't expensive pets to keep - their food is cheap and their heating doesn't take as much energy as you might think :)

Congrats on the new arrival and may I just say well done for doing it all so sensibly, it's nice to see someone being thoroughly prepared before they bring their new snake home

Looking forward to photos
