Posted - 02/08/2011 : 14:17:28 I am shortly about to move snakey into a wooden viv and was wondering what size watt mat should be used on a 3x2x2 viv or does it not matter providing it covers a third of the base? Also has anyone got any photos of the inside of the bare viv less decoration so I can see how all the wires and cables go cheers |

Posted - 02/08/2011 : 20:43:07 i think you'll struggle to find a heatmat that's >100W so your current stat will be fine |

Posted - 02/08/2011 : 20:20:09 I believe that's the theory. But i think the wattage you need would only be 24W so you'll be fine. |

Posted - 02/08/2011 : 15:05:56 even in the larger 4ft vivs i only use an 11" x 15" or 11 x 22" (approx) size heatmats |

Posted - 02/08/2011 : 14:25:32 A heat mat that covers half or a third of a tank. So a heat mat that is around 1 x 2ft at a guess. Like this i think...
