this pic is in this thread she was 6 weeks when i got her she is about 10 weeks now but has shed twice so her colours get better every time she sheds. So she is still a baby but lovely with it i would'nt do without her best decision i made in a long time. |

Well her colours were deep a lot better than the other normal stripes the bloke had that i got her off, the other babys were really light she just really stood out that is why i got her, basically i would go with what kehhlyr said about silicon sealant and let it set properly before putting her in. In Chynas pic that is in this thread she was 6 weeks hav'nt taken any recent pics but will do in the next few days. |

ye u could do that i dont think it should be a problem as long as the heat mat is partly under the tub like it would be in the viv covering a third of the bottom of the tub. If the tub is 10" by 6" that would do her until she is 16". |

thats fine its just temporerly while i get this going but the tub is small like height wise its like 3,but height dunt matter does it. and if i put the heat amt under 1.3 coz the tanks so small would it not heat all the tank up n get really got?? |

no heat mats only do surface heat they dont heat the air.it will only heat the part it is under. |

the heat mat will go under the tub so the stat will sit on the mat, when i got my normal they had it in like a plastic chinese tub what u get chow meins in and all the used for substrate was kitchen towel and a top off of a jam jar lid as a water bowl plus they used half a toilet roll inner as a hide. Chyna used to also go under the kitchen roll double it up so it can go between the sheets of the kitchen roll, if it is only gonna be tempory i would'nt worry to much. |

it will sit on the heat mat so it keeps it at a nice temp |

If you don't have a thermostat it will get very hot, otherwise it will be fine as Shaun says. |

set your thermostat to about 28-29 and put the robe on the mat outside the temp. the temprature may drop alittle but merely a 1 degree drop if that. stop worying. http://www.videojug.com/film/how-to-care-for-baby-corn-snakes
watch that video. the thermostat is just over the heatmat |
