Would the answer have been "Because he can"?

Nice to have another petrol-head on board.

My wife's the driver. I just love all the tweaking/tinkering and getting covered in oil. We're stuck with a Previa at the moment cos of the kids but eyeing up the Evo range for when we can finally get rid of the "bus" in a few years. She's a petrol head too and still leaves the boy racers standing even in our old Heffalump of a car. Trying to find an old '70s Alfa Romeo Spyder for her to use as a run-about at the moment. She even complains if I watch Top Gear without her. It's great .

You might think he's the speed demon, but I must point out he said he was following me!

His accord ate my Corsa's diesal fumes as I burnt him off up the road (that's my version of events anyway)

Nah. The previa all the way. Two and a half litre, fuel injected, armoured personnel carrier The engine is underneath in the middle so it's really nicely balanced. She says that it doesn't feel like an MPV, more like a saloon. The "overdrive" button needs to be re-labelled "afterburners".

Just to make it snake related, a 3ft fully assembled wooden viv fits in the boot easily without having to move anything around .

My stag will be getting an engine replacement to a 4litre V8 rather than a 3.5 Same engine that goes in a tvr, Who needs sporty speed when you can go fast and make it look good too? Classic all the way!

Hence the Alfa, but that's assuming that I can find someone that doesn't realise that they can get more by breaking it for spares. Some people are so tight.

Completely Agree - My Stag was rescued from the breakers hence the restoration, Only drove it round the block can't wait to get it in the motorway and see what it can really do!

i forgotten about your Stag Lewy, in the barn where i keep my ponies there's a stripped shell propped up on it's side and various boxes of bits, if you saw it you'd cry!
