We had some really good close ups - although I was expecting a little more entries, we did have some great photos.
I will add the Voting for Aprils Competition in a new thread in a moment.

This Months Competition will be another a photo competition.
This month the theme is 'Sleepy Snakes'
Since the prize is a little bigger this month, I want to make this month's photo competition a little harder, I would like you to try and get a photo of your Corn Snake yawning - (or with it's mouth open) (sometimes after a feed snakes yawn to re-align their jaws) Kehhlyr came up with the idea. I thought it would be an ideal one for this month and It means you will have to really earn the prize.
As aways, here are the rules:

3.ENTRIES FROM THE UK ONLY PLEASE - We have some large prizes to give away in the future and due to postage costs we're sorry to say for now we can only post to the UK.

I am so sorry everyone, i'm so glad that i can't get hung and drawn online. I will stand in line for orderly backside kicking. However, i'm gonna have the same difficulty as everyone else.

To get your entry into the competition just reply to this topic, with your photo in the post. There is a fairly concise and easy 'using photobucket' guide on the site somewhere, but i'm a tadge to intoxicated to find it at the moment. Ruddy scousers, you can get the wheels off the McClaren F1 car and respray and sell it to Ferrari in less than 5 seconds, but give you something honest to do and it all goes up the creek.
This is my entry, but I've got to admit that Lewy had to help me, because even with a camera each it still took a long time to catch one. They are just so fast.
Good old Casper! He didn't let us down in the end, even though we must have taken about 300 photos to finally get one with it's mouth open.
after feeding Henry drank loads of water. i was sat near the viv and my camera was on top of it (always prepared!), and i just had that "the snakes gunna yawn" feeling and to spite me she did.....twice. I didnt bother diving for the camer because i didnt want to spook her. Its amazing to watch.
I fed Angelina and like everyone else sat in front of her viv for around 10 mins but only was 1 yawn and was too slow on the camera, this competition is solid!!
