24 hrs after fed chester i noticed he popped his head out of his hide. looked him straight in the eyes and he did the biggest yawn ever...

no camera...GUTTED!!!!!

that was not me that opened his mouth, it was a vet that came to see him, and was not forced open, he opened with a touch of the chin!

Sorry! Over reacted a bit! I've seen some nasty videos on youtube this week of snakes being treated nastily. What's wrong with her/him?

Sorry It still can't really count for a sleepy snake. As there are hands involved :0) but happy it was the vet! sorry again!

thats ok Lewy, she's a trained vet and reptile breeder and prob the only person on the planet i let touch my boys, i took Max on when he was approx2/3 yr old with no history and so he had a full health check, including oral im afraid, i wudnt never try to do it myself, and knew it wudnt count lol

I tried getting a yawning shot again yesterday but failed miserably! Jasssper was having none of it and is not feeling photogenic atm while he is in pre-shed mode!

well i`ve got 3 corns who feed every 5 days and i`ve been trying to get a shot since the comp began. If the comp was called `sleepysnakes from the back` i`d have the prize in the bag.
