I think Sneaky is due a shed... His eyes have went all blue and cloudy. :) Is it ok to still handle him, or shall I just leave him alone until the shedding is over? Is there anything I need to do to assist in the shedding process?
My other question is regarding bathing him. Is it necessary to bath your snake? The guy I bought my snake of never mentioned anything about bathing...
Finally, is it necessary to spray the tank with water everyday?
Many thanks for your help |

blue eyes = shed there eye sight is dramatically reduced whed shedding and they like to hide away so i advise not to handle them. bathing is only necessary if the shed is incomplete and they retain some skin. you can mist during the shed perios or you could put in a moss hide. i think there is a 'how to' make a moss hide in the DIY section |

If he lets you get him out of his viv, a quick bath wouldn't do any harm. May make his time a little easier :) But don't handle him for long periods of time, or doing anything that'd stress him out.. and hopefully he'll have a nice full shed ^^ |

Well there is a snake cave in the tank filled with moss. I spray the moss with water everyday to keep it nice and moist. Is this enough or do I need to spray the whole tank as well?
Thank you :)) |

I've never sprayed the whole tank.. You don't really need to her, if she's in her moss hide a lot; then she'll get the right humidity from there :) |

some snakes dont like the moss hides and then you would need light misting of the viv during sheding |

Lol I had a peek in the moss hide, and Sneaky is all curled up inside it. :)) He seems to enjoy it. :)) |

watch spraying the whole tank if its too humid bacteria can grow, try putting a larger water bowl for you snake to soak in, that might help |

on the other hand, unless you're expecting a problem he's best left to get on with it himself.
large water bowl and damp hide ahould be enough, i wouldn't mist the damp hide unless it dries out and i wouldn't mist the viv - corns only need normal UK humidity (around 50%), too much can cause health problems, and keep handling to a minimum. |
