Hi, new to any forum re corn snakes but after reading some stuff on here i am a little bit worried. We have 2 corns that we got in Oct 2007 and were rougly a couple of months old. We were told by the pet shop they coulnd't be sexed for at least another year due to harm to the snakes but it is perfectly fine to house them together! Anway one is an albino snow corn and the other is a browny colour and the the snow has always ate really really well! The snow (Tiami) layed 8 eggs last week so it's now obvious what the sex is! They have never had any fights and have always been together and are most of the time cuddled up. We were not prepared for the eggs and we have no incubator as they are so expensive so they are in another hide with moss and we keep it damp. Is it true the female might eat the eggs? Someone said she won't feed either but she has just eaten her mice and more! Really worried so any answers would be a great help.

well it sounds like inaequacy from the shop ! but wel not go into that !! at least you know the sexes now. Personally i think what youve done so far is great but for even more protection id put the eggs in a cricket tub with damp moss warmed in the viv and put the tub in the warm end of the viv but off of the heat mat they may take a little longer to hatch but it has been done !
hope this helps

I would also separate the male and female if possible, because if they are only a few months old then breeding can cause loads of problems. The female should be 3 years old before she's allowed to breed really.
