Another bloody egg, and she has at least one more.

Its a bit old, so I either found it two or three days after, or is it possible they missed it while doing the op? (unlikly of course).

She seems fine, very active, probably looking for a place to lay the lest egg. I tried to feed her last night but she wasnt interested, left it in over night and its still there. Shes had 1 mouse in 4 months Luckily I have some reptoboost left over so i will put some of that in her water.

The egg is infertile (and not fresh), healthy eggs are white.

In a word no they aren't meant to look like this Muppet. Mattys snake has had a really rough time this year producing Slugs (duff infertile eggs)

Well this time they are only about 1/2 the size, so im hoping it will go smoothly. I can only feel one more so if there are any more, they should pass easily.

Hopefully all will be well now.
Is she unable to produce eggs now? or was it basically just an emergency C-section in the end?

Can snakes be spayed?? I know lizards can.

Im not sure if she can produce them or not, I assmue she can though. They removed all the eggs in the op.

Snakes are hard to spay aparently because they can retract the organs up the body.

Tell me about it, shes just being selfish now!

I havnt made an apointment yet, but will do this week. She has ripped 6 out of 8 stitches out while sheeding, but its all healed fine (only shed the once though).
