Really sorry if this has already been covered on the forum but I couldn't see it.

For those of you who have lots of snakes and don't use vivs, could you possibly post a pic of your multiple snake setups?

I have a big alcove area in my front room that I was going to put a big viv in later but now I am wondeing if I could put some sort of shelves up and have quite a few containers on so house more snakes

I haven't even got my snake home yet and I want more lol

you can use racks, but most of the time racks are only really used for breeding purposes.
If you want racks, and want good things, look at pro racks.
For the price of them, you might want to employ half a dozen people to build you one!!

Wow! That's exactly what I was looking for. I'm not going to breed but just wanted to see how you could fit a few snakes into that size space.

I may well decided to have a few vivs later stacked up but until them I could use shelves and rubs.

Thanks for posting the pic :o)

I converted part of my built in closet into a type of rack system, 3 shelves with heat cabling, radiator foil and a pulse stat. Only have 4 rubs in there atm but with 2 more snakes on the way it certainly saves me a fair bit of space.

I also have a viv stack- royal in the top, then 2 adults, and the bottom one will be for the carpet python when he's big enough.

I also have my tv sat on top of my 4 foot viv, which has been split in 2 for Sarabi and Aurora, and Sitka's 2 foot viv on top of my empty 3 foot vivexotic, with an empty exo-terra on top of that. Oh, and another exo-terra on my chest of drawers.

Thanks, me and my dad built it ourselves from a wardrobe we bought half price from B&Q. We used the doors for the front panels, the shelves for the viv floors, bought runners and vents off e-bay and got glass from a local firm, only took a few hours all in all.

Not too much time, It's difficult to put wardrobes together and hold a camera at the same time.
