I'm getting all the stuff together for my snakes faun and decided to get a couple of small fake plants. Do I need to wash them or anything before I put them in the faun? If so, what is ok to wash them in.
Again, sorry if this is already covered somewhere on the forum |

I bought some plastic plants at the Doncaster Show back in September. Not sure I did the right thing but I just opened the packets and put the plants in the viv's. My 3 corns haven't suffered because I didn't wash them. |

I didn't wash mine either. Mine were all sealed in bags and unused. I did give the ones I got from Dunhelm mills a bit of a rince though, don't gnat them stinking like old ladies! |

I just put them straight in without washing them. If I was using second hand then I would certainly give them a good wash with reptile disinfectant rinse and then dry before using them. |
