very interesting read that thread...i DO have a pair of cohabiting corns, both about 4 y/o but the female is very undersized to a premature pregnancy. i must point out that i adopted the pair around 3 months ago, my personal choice would have been to keep them seperate but they have been together for the last 4 years+ and i dont wanna seperate them now...i have tried too and both became very lathargic and bad tempered...i know snakes arne emotional or even sociable but i cant deny that they seem to pine for each other lol! (awwwww)
to reduce the risk of in-fighting i have given them seperate watter dishes, seperate basking lamps, seperate hides and feed them seperately (not putting them back together until both have eaten to avoid any scent related accidents) out of the viv. the viv itself is 4'x4'x1.5' so they have their space but they normally curl up together anyway. well that was a long post lol |

Only you can decide if you consider it a risk worth taking. How will you feel if things don't work out? Can you cope with any bad outcome? Is it fair to 'play' God with the snakes and put them in possible danger? Your choice...... |

I have one snake and am looking to get a second one very soon. It's probably not going to be a corn snake but even if it was I would never put it in with Nimbus.
I would never risk it. I have another faunarium setup and ready for a new snake. I would rather be safe than sorry :o) |
