Hiya and welcome to the forum. Great decision to get some snakies. Looking forward to seeing pics when they have settled.
Sorry if I am reading this wrong but it sounds like you are planning on keeping 2 hatchlings in one tank. It is inadvisable to keep snakes together, especially hatchlings, for many reasons, not least the chance of canibalism. Please have a read of this thread before you get your new babies. It is a bit long winded but well worth a good read. Then you are fully aware of all the risks if you do still chose to keep them together http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1070
THATS A DEFINATE NO NO.ive done my studies people say not to house them till there 1 year old but even then i wouldnet do it cos it aint fair on them. the only thing they will be sharing is the heat mat with two thermostats one in each tank
pics will be aposted asap :-)
Sorry for jumping to conclusions. It was the "my tank is warming up nicely now ready for snakes to come home to tommorow " that got me wondering. Tank singular and snakes plural.
I'm looking forward to the pics. I love Carolinas, I think their colours and variety are fantastic. |
