Have done today aswell as the local pets at home but no joy unfortally, but she's fit and healthy and been gone for 7 to 12 days judging by its weight So it's pretty lucky considering it survived that long let alone much longer.

Thanx for the kind words lozzy , I feel it was the right thing to do. I'm abit happier today as the heavens opened up last night and it would of been one wet cold bunny :( lol . This morning she's eaten a huge broccoli stalk hay and mixed pellets. I've allso put a plastic tray in there to try and make it poop in that area, it is currently pooping like a machine gun due to it not digesting much before hand. Poor thing! but bloody messy it could allso do with a wash but not sure how to go about this ?

aww already a spoilt bunny! you definalty did the right thing. if its just the gential area you can use warm water and cotton wool, if you pick her up using your body to support her back, with one hand between her front legs gently restraining and the other hand suporting her bottom you should be able to clean her easliy: its a two person job though one to restrain one to clean :-) hope that helps

What a gorgeou looking bunny rabbit, what is said above is absolutly right they are easier that cats to litter train both of mine (house rabbits) taught themselves to use the cat litter tray lol). As said visit your local pet shop they should have everything you need but also try www.zooplus.com i get alot of stuff of here for cats/rabits and they brill and cheaper than alot of shops. If you do end up keeping long term make sure he/she is fixed especially if a girl as other wise likely to get ovarian cancer. Also i have always been told to keep rabbits in pairs as they are naturally social animals and can get depression if on there own. Just have to deal with the integration process then, which not to bad keep in hutch/cage near each other for a while swap scents etc and then gradually introduce i use the bath tub for that as they cant move/get out so makes it easier lol. Well done you for catching i find my 2 hard enough to catch and they not got that much space to run around in. Love the pic of him/her on his back my male does that apparently puts them into a trance lol :)
