Helllo! I have now had my baby corn for just over a month (She's now 7 weeks old). She's eating well and has finally stopped biting me. I have one concern though.. At the moment she's in a 60 x 40 viv with everything a snakey needs. However all she seems to do is hide under the substrate.. Now I read a bit about baby corn snakes who prefer smaller spaces and I have seen how some of you keep your snakes in those tub things with a lid (I have noo idea what their called haha) I happen to have one (30 x 20) so I'm wondering if it might be a good idea if I move her into that? I'm not sure whether she enjoyes laying under substrate or if she's threatened by the large space. x |

She may just like hiding. One of mine is always hidden and I only see her when I get her out for feeding. As long as she is feeding and pooping ok for you and you have got lost of cover (fake plants, kitchen roll tubes etc) in there then she should be ok in the bigger viv. |
