Was considering getting my snake popped to find out sex, just wanted advise on what age this should be done at or is there an age where it should not be attempted.

Have a local reptile shop near, I'm sure they can do it but have heard bad stuff about them and don't want them to do it just for the money and sake of it.

Thanks for advice

Only hatchlings can be popped safley. And if done by someone that have little experience, it can really damage the snake. Your best chance is waiting until the are about 3ft and getting them probed, again by someone with experience. Some can give false sexing, breeding is the only 100 percent way to know x

Can they be popped from early ages? My four are almost a week old now. I have a local reptile shop that I'm sure would do them, but is it too early?

old enough for a male to hold his man bits in. I don't know how old that is, generally after 3 months-ish you're better off with probing

I've called three different places and no one will pop them until they've eaten and shed. Aparently I'm too impatient o.O
