I was wondering if anyone knows what this might be. Bazilishka has got a dimple in the middle of some of her scales. The only think I thought about is deydration, but she drinks ok and sheds in one piece, and when she poos, it's got some clear liquid with the poo, so should mean she's not dehydrated?
The dimple is only on some scales, not all, and is always there, even after shed. What do you think?

My MBK has similar dimples and creases on some scales and I have seen pictures of others as well. Healthy in every other way so I don't think there is anything to get worried about. Even after several sheds the creases are still there.

Ok, thanks, Auld Baldy, that puts my mind at rest. I was wondering if I was being a bit overly worried :-)

I think it is normal . Apollo has them too. He's had them since I got him and shed several times without them changing in any way. The thing to watch out for is if the dimples are all in a straight line, like a crease down the side of the snake as this tends to happen when they are overweight.
