well if you guys rember there was a thread on here called is it just me about a advert about two cornsnaks that looked underwaigth well i went and picked them up got therm sat at the side of me currently
the male of the two is 500 grams or around that the female i have just feed any advice on the two ?
I'm presuming that they are underweight because they weren't fed often enough.
You want to get them stabilized on a more normal maintenance schedule. Even a maintenance schedule should have them putting on weight and you want don't want to overload the system. They are small you want to feed them small (as wide as their widest point)till they are eating regularly then start feeding them bigger meals. I'd also recommend adding vitamins. You can see from the linked vids that they make a difference even in healthy animals and if yours are underweight then they're malnourished and you don't want to trigger a growth spurt till you fix that so you can avoid deficiency related disease.
Do they handle well? they will need lots of exercise to make sure the extra weight they put on is muscle rather then fat. Gently at first, frequent short sessions to avoid exhaustion.
