Thank you, so the habistat has a probe and the thermometer obv has a probe ( think I've got one coming that has 2 probes, one for either end of viv.

Can you show me a pic of the other end of wires all plugged into each other and here I'm to place my thermometer? Can I have it outside the tank ( the bit you read from)if the probe will just slip through the back plug of the tank?

Ah okay, thanks I think I get it now lol, was being really dumb and didn't realise the stat had a probe too lol so two probes (or three in my case) one from stat and one from thermometer. Sorry I know I sound really stupid but I want to make sure everything is perfect.

Have just cut up a kitchen foil old tube and put in for her, hopefully she'll like it.

She is currently at the back on the cool side buried in aspen and her little face is ticking out and she is looking about lol

( heat mat is off though so assuming hot side isn't all that hot)

Can I ask why you bought all new when you could have got all the bits for less cost?

Erm not really sure, I liked the home we got for her and its big enough for a long time so that's why I got that, and the place we got it all from did us a deal for certain essential items in store. Got my habistat second hand and thermometer new, just wanted to get it all new so I could get it all set up quicker.

Will prob source other project slower though and look around more for all the bits just first time round is a bit of trial and error with regards to what to get.

Depends what you are after. I have 4 vivs for sale inc a stat. Poss a mat. In sure I have a couple of hide hiding some where. Thermometers area 2 pounds if eBay. Depends what snake your after. The 24 inch monkfield will do a snake h til it's 3 ft long. Which for some snakes is under a year old. Other could be 2 depends on the snake.

From Essex reptile, unless I've got my wires crossed and its not the same thing, but that is what I was looking at and liking, although have been browsing the reptistax and I love them!! We're midway through having a whole wall purpose built for our reptiles with shelving and cabinets but now I think I like those instead lol. Hubby gonna go mad
