Can someone please help!?
I only bought my snake 2 weeks ago.. when i bought her on a wednesday, the petshop told me she regurged on the sunday, so i tried to feed her again that night and no problems. On the following wednesday i fed her and she regurged the next day, i didnt feed her again till the wednesday thats just been, and she regurged today.
Ive read that if they regurge more than once, they will keep doing so till they die!! Im really hoping i can stop this!
I think it might be my fault, or atleast im hoping, due to me handling her too soon after a feed, i do so after or just before 24 hours. And she started to regurge while i was handling her today so im pretty sure its me.
Ive read that i can feed her a smaller meal for a couple of weeks and no handling at all until she stops regurging for around 6 feeds. But i dont want to not handle her for that long incase she wont like being handled afterwards or wont be comfertable with me? But if i have to i will.
Can someone please give me some advice or help, i would greatly appreaciate it!! |

| don't feed her or handle her for 10 days following the regurge, just make sure she has access to fresh water all the time. |

As above, give her around 10 days complete break, just go in to change water, or clean if she poops ( which she probably won't ).
Also, make sure your temperatures are spot on, and that whatever you're using for a heat is running with a thermostat, as wrong temperatures can cause regurge, too.
When you come to feeding next time, go for a smaller item than usual, and definitely don't handle at least 48h after feeding, I don't handle mine at all, until they've pooped. In your case, it'd be better if you didn't handle at all, until she starts eating properly and keeps the food down.
I know it can be very difficult not to handle, but it's important that your snakes survives in the first place. There will be plenty of time for handling later on, and she will know your smell already, anyway, so don't worry about her not being used to you.
I'm thinking it might not quite be all your fault, the shop shouldn't have sold you a snake that has regurged, until they've got it healthy and eating again. But you obviously care about her, and hopefully, she'll get better for you. Good luck, and if you need any help, just ask :-)

If it keeps happening, it can be for several reasons. Wrong temperatures, stress, or, worse case scenario, she could be ill, or if she's a hatchling, and has actually never kept anything down, there could be something developmentally wrong with her.
Best you can do for her, is to leave her completely alone and in peace, apart from changing the water. Also make sure she has nice, dark hides on both hot and cool side, lots of cover in her home, so she feels safe. And the temperatures must be right. When you've done all this, hopefully, she ''l be ok. If I were you, I'd keep the shop informed, though, just in case. They may offer to take her back and get here eating, or exchange her ( which can be difficult, if you've already grown attached to her ).

In my opinion it was wrong of the shop to sell her to you when she had just regurged!
The above advice is spot on - and, not having a go at you, but I'd have to agree that if she regurged as you were handling her then you obviously hadn't left her nearly long enough after feeding before handling - but you know better now and won't make that mistake again. |

| Good advice above. I wouldn't handle until she has had at least 4 feeds in a row without a regurge. You should have her for about 20 years so a month or so without handling is nothing in the grand scheme of things. Keep us posted. |

| I would to minimise stress as much as possible. Put down a bit of kitchen towel or something else similar and then feed on that to try and avoid substrate being ingested if you want (unless you are using paper as a substrate already). She will probably drag it off it but don't worry if she does. |
