morph? may seem like a dumb question but may provide the answer. Also if you can get a video of it moving would be helpful.

sounds more like stargazing to me, but would need to see to be sure.

As gmac says what is he? Sunkissed is the morph which can carry stargazing (but not always). Hope he is OK, I didn't think corns could get IBD either, thought they could only be carriers?

i would let the person you got the snake from know this, as this is a nasty gene and he should not breed from those snakes again. likewise he should also be letting folks that got corns from him from the same clutch they could carry the gazer gene and not ever to breed from them.

can you email me this breeders name please. my email is my sig below. Im not gonna waste my time testing all my poss gazer carriers, along with several others in the uk for folks like that to just turn a blind eye to this.

Dont worry i wont be mentioning where i got the name from or anything like that, but i do know a lot of folks in the community that may be able to drop subtle and not so subtle hints ;)

Utterly disgraceful.

Sorry to hear your snake is indeed stargazing - I hope he is OK and it does not affect him too badly Faye xx

Sorry to hear that, and hope he won't be too badly affected, and can still lead a good life.

Just a food for thought - ( and I'm NOT in any way standing up for the breeder, especially if he/she's got that irresponsible attitude ) - but can stargazing be caused by other things, than genetic condition? I.e. neurological damage, for example?

0.1.0 late CB10 Carolina corn snake - Bazilishka
1.0.0 CB11 Abbots Okeetee- Little Twiddler
1.0.0 CB11 Hypo corn- Sebastianek

0.0.1 hognose

nope razee is a recessive gene so you can see where the issue if he continues to breed will end up.

Disgusting if it is indeed stargazing. though even if it isn't surely the breeder would have known the snake was a little wappy before selling. either way I'm sorry :( I hope he's not too bad.

A very special super, duper thanks for K :3
