Hi guys, I noticed this a while back it doesn't seem to be bothering Goldie and I do check for retained shed every time (though she's only shed twice since i got her 3 months or so ago).
I noticed this sort of kink with a brown mark on it not long after i got her on the very tip of her tail, there is no retained shed there, and ive lightly cleaned it with damn paper towel (but corns dont seem to like the tip been touched anyway so it wasnt easy and i got pooped on for my troubles :|)
anyway, there are 2 images in the link below, they are as good as i could get with her not wanting to hold still. to explain it better; around 3-4 mm from the very tip there looks to be a scale missing with a slight fork appearance like there's a scale missing one one side of the tail tip (which isnt as sharp in appearance as my other corns. There is also a slightly brown colour, again which looks like a missing scale. She's fine to handle and doesnt appear distressed, is eating shedding and pooping great, and like i said this has been there as long as ive had her (or so i think) and she's had no injuries in my ownership.
anyway apologies for the pic quality, for now Im like a paranoid father looking in on her daily, just hoping its something that will self correct, as long as she's not stressed by it (very mellow snake :))
