As soon as I had got Lady Sybil I knew I had to find her Vimes!(So tempted to get a bearded dragon just so I can call him Errol)
Sir PTerry only lives up the road a bit from me, ok that makes him sound really close but he is within 50miles, I have met him loads of times at conventions and various other events and I have even worn 'the hat'....
Moppet, his head scales really do look iridescent depending on the light but I think its his lil pink nose that sets it off lol. In the short time I have had him, I can really say that his name suits him very well and he takes after his namesake.
I have so many characters I want to use the names of but I dont see them all being corns. Nanny, for some reason, I see as a hoggie (even though I am still not sure if I actually like them but I must do deep down lol), Granny I see as cobra, a Feegle would of course have to be a MBK....
Hi, Im Gilly and I am a snake-a-holic and a Pratchett-a-holic (even though the cat is named after an Anne Rice character...)

The original kitten I went to pick up was a Greebo but s/he didnt pay me any attention at all but this little black kitten climbed up my leg, up to my shoulder and licked my cheek. That was it, she was mine and she had picked me. She is called Tat, after the vampire Lestat, as she has vampire teeth lol. If she would even entertain the idea of another cat I would so have a Greebo and a Laccy (Lacrimosa) by now.

The list of names is endless. I hadn't thought of TP as inspiration when I got Linguene.
We get a Royal Python at the end of June and as cheesy as it is, he will be named Monty.
BTW.....
If there are any Admins about from the Royal Python site I'm waiting to be able to post there. ;-) |

| That last set of pics of him chilling out on driftwood look great :D He is very cute :) I've always had a things for Classics so like to use the well known people (or fictional characters, gods etc) from back then. (My cat doesn't count, she had a nice name when I rescued her :P) |

| He is a cutie, you would be amazed at how quickly I gave in and decided I wanted him, even though I had said no more corns until after I had moved. I just fell in love instantly, as I did with Sybil, and had to have him! |

P.s. I already have Greebo! Our 18 year old cat - it's not his original name, but he has very much earned the Greebo nickname.... the only difference is, he is ginger - but then again, there's the famous line of Greebo ( in Witches abroad, as the ball, when they turned Greebo into a man ) where he says: " Aaalwaaays waaanted to bee ginger " :-) |

After the lil blip with the regurge, Vimes has eaten a thawed only pinkie and seems to be keeping a hold of it so far!
No new piccies to update with yet as I have been letting him recover from the regurge. |
