So am I, still  , though at least I can now move fairly well around the house, and manage to feed and spot clean the snakes myself 
I'd never have that much patience, though, the only way to make something like that would be doing a few bits at the time ( plus I still don't last that long doing things with my hands )
Completely off topic, but I'm so happy - I went to see my Socksy ( my horse ) for the first time since the accident ( as car journeys, especially bumpy lanes, are still very difficult, so is walking on uneven ground ). I was convinced he'd have either forgotten me, or sulked, as he used to, if I dared to go on holiday.... It's been over 4 months, and I would probably smell completely different to him, too...
Well, the horses were at the opposite side of field, over brow of the hill, out of site. I called him - and he came galloping, full tilt, straight to me. He was ever so careful around me, too, and licked my hands for ages. That did it... I was looking for a loan home for him, for at least a year, as I'm not able to look after him at the moment, but if my friend is happy to keep him till I'm well... I'm keeping him :-)

The TERRIFYING BEAST........
Now, i am a very nervous person, very jumpy, i blame my medication, i jump when my toast pops, if i am in the kitchen, someone walks in, i startle and yelp.
I was on the phone to a friend when a moving shadow caught my eye, was looking at it when something moved over the edge of the light shade, well i screamed right in my friends ear, then felt really stupid when i realised what it was.

To Scaly- how did you do? Try not to let things get to you, don't forget, time passes, and things like exams are over sooner than you think, and then you can relax..:-) |
