My lps has a lovly striped in i think hes beautiful and hes reserve at the moment, i just wondered he seems a littl not dull and he aint shedding but he isnt properly orange orange i wondered what would he look like when hes older do colours get brighter etc??? post of your striped when babys and adults would really help :) also hes like this but a lot darker http://www.scserp.com/SCSPhotoGalleryRatSnakesFullSizeImages/StripedAlbinoCornSnakeBaby001.JPG and about 10 inches long,how old would you say that is?? thanks |

have a look on here http://www.iansvivarium.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/cornmorphs.html they can change quite a bit from hatchlings to adults, if you click on the main photo of each morph it shows what they look like as hatchlings and as adults, along with any genetic striping or motley. |

right thanks thats brill, i lookde at striped it does look similar and sound it, my mum said it had 1 MAIN DARK STRIPE and 2 finer lines each side.looked like it went all the way :s whats that haha |

In general-a baby will eat a pinkie every 5 days, a hatchling will eat a small mouse every 7 days and an adult will eat a large mouse or medium rat every 10- 14 days.
But really it's down to the individual corn, some will eat more often than this and some will eat less. It's the size of the food item that is important. It must be about the same size as it's head plus another half.

If it is definitely a stripe then £50 is reasonable, but you need to know before you buy it really.

:@ i need help haha on another forum there saying its likly to be normal stripe whats that haha i dont get all the types of striped ones, i cant get a pic shops shut innit so all i can do is describe him as its quite a dark red/orange with 2 main dark lines running down it then on the sides of him there are 2 finer lines. he was lovly,sorry best i can explain : |
