Hi All

I am the proud co-owner of a one year old corn (with my year old daughter). Even though I am an experienced pet owner (2 dogs and previously rabbits, guineas, hamsters and cats) I have found this quite challenging!

They don't "work " the same as warm blooded animals and I have really enjoyed the challenge but I worry a lot more about him...

dead cute though!

AHB

Dunno about that. I've had a Royal for a few months now but the whole Corn thing is new to me. I think I've got the snake bug now.

They are completely fascinating aren't they...My daughter has waited since she was about 3 years old for her first snake and she adores him...I say him, we haven't sexed him and have no desire to..he evens up the battle of the sexes if he's a boy so that's the way he will stay.

Our next buy is a Royal but they are supposed to be difficult feeders so we started with a corn.

Go for it. As long as you read up as much as possible beforehand Royals aren't that bad. The sister site to this one, http://www.theroyalpython.co.uk, is brilliant. The guys on there have helped me out many times and it's just as friendly as this one.
