lol, if a corny bite u would go nuts because you cant see the biting marks because there are none because they hardly ever cause damage and practically never bite.

a young snake you will barely feel, an adult WILL break the skin and draw blood, but its nothing that is gonna do lasting damage.
The important thing is to not pull away as they strike, thats the hard bit.

If they do bite its not sore, it wont harm you, it may break the skin but it still wont hurt, a paper cut hurts more. If it does break the skin just wash the small wound and maybe even use a bit of antiseptic cream or I have a tiny bottle of TCP in my snake kit just in case, its never been opened though.

you'll jump a mile at the speed of the strike and maybe swear a bit, but other than tht you'll just have a row of tiny pin pricks on your finger. It will probably sting for a few minutes and bleed a bit but its nothing serious.

To everyone who says it doesn't hurt, I reckon they've not taken a bite from a grumpy adult corn yet ;)

I definately agree with that!!! It does hurt, but its not the kind of pain you would probably expect, their teeth are incredibly sharp, and they do have quite a few of them.
However, i can pretty much promise you that its not gonna be as bad as you think. 9 times out of ten its over before you realise.

And yes, i have been bitten plenty of times!!

Not grumpy, hungry though! Tried to eat my thumb, did a not so energetic constriction luckily but was on my thumb for a good while still and all I could feel was a little pin *****, less than what doctors desribe their injections like XD and then she readjusted herself to try and get a better angle to eat my thumb, that was just a bit uncomfortable puling my skin about like that!

Hope you called a Wahbalnce Eeji.

The damage on this pic was from when my cb2k corn was latched on for nearly 10 mins, and having a little chew:

Very little damage, more slobbery than anything else.
I would try to take a photo of what it looks like about 20 hours afterwards, but you can see nearly nothing.

Your fingers must look like giant pinkies then K. I would love to also see other bites you have gotten from your other snakes as a comparision :D Specially king ones as I'm sure the photo's of bites I've seen from them have been shopped.

Errr what's wrong with them? Look like normal nails to me? O.o;;

"More slobbery", hahaha.

Really, nothing. The bacteria from inside their mouth could be a problem and MAY swell up and tingle but this is rare, only if they get a good chomp!

On the inside isnt good enough, its important but you need to look after yourself, it makes you feel good if you take care of yourself. xD
